GoodTemps partners with Holland youth program

GoodTemps Staffing Services is partnering once again with Holland Youth Connections, a program that offers summer job opportunities, skill-building, and mentorships for at-risk youth in the Holland area. GoodTemps serves as the employer of record; coordinating registrations, work permits, and administering weekly payroll.

 
Now in its fourth year, juvenile crime has dropped 45 percent since the program began, according to city officials.  Administered by the City of Holland, Escape Ministries, and other community partners and donors, the program served 178 youth last year in 8- to 10-week work programs.
 
"The program helps kids gain valuable paid work experience while being positively connected to their community and peers," said GoodTemps Director J.D. Wallace.
